            Always find out what the deadline is for any grant that you are submitting.  This is very important because all of them are going to have deadlines that must be complied with.  If you are not turning in the grant application before the deadline you are not going to be approved for it.  In fact, it is always going to be better for you if you are turning in the grant deadline before it is actually do.  Many times you will be required to submit your academic transcripts with the application.  Try to find this out as early as possible to ensure that you are getting these lined up and ready to submit with your application.
